"Hassan Uprising" PANGLIMA HASSAN STORY

One of the Greatest Confrontation in Philippine History was the "Hassan Uprising" Ended on March 4,1904 When U.S> Successfully Defeated the Spain from Colonizing The Philippines. The Government needs to temporarily align themselves among the Filipino Muslims soldiers to entirely Ruled the Archipelago including Visayas and Luzon. This promted the Proclamation of BATES TREATY Between the Sultan of Jolo and U.S. Government. on August 1899. Along with this Treaty, it is Unknown to the Muslim Filipino Soldiers that the U.S. Has no serious consideration on this particularly in Recognizing and Fulfilled in this Treaty. There are still some who strongly opposed and among is Panglima Hassan.
On October, 1903, Hassan Launch Rebellion along with some 400 followers, they attacked the American Forte in Jolo but their force cannot match up the Heavily armed American, Resulting ti the fall of Hassan under Col. H. Scott on November, 1903.
Driven By His unselfish desire for independence and Patriotism, Hassan was able to escape the tight cordon of the Americans on their way to Jolo. Governor Leonar Wood Ordered His Men to search, shoot and Kill Hassan by all means. upon learning that Hassan was somewhere at BUD BAGSAK, The Americans Mobilized its troop to conquer Hassan. On March 4, 1904, Hassan Was Shoot By American Sharpshooter but Missed, giving Hassan a Chance to cover Himself until finally when Hassan Realized, He Has no chance anymore, He fight them back armed Himself with "Barung" after all the fight ended, Hassan Laid down with His Own Blood Signifying the end of "Hassan Uprising."
